It's tough to put in words what your music means to me. I know it sounds cliche but it's true. Since a youngin, my ear caught onto the sounds of Al B Sure, George Michael, Seal, Technotronic and more. Funny how some of my fav PM Dawn hits are samples of my fav songs already.. and when you sampled, you didnt let me down. Always a wonderful contribution. I recall hearing "Looking through patient eyes" as a child and the feeling it gave me.. or hearing "reality used to be a friend of mine" in one of my fav childhood movies, Encino Man. I recall finding the "The Best of.." in 2000 and finding songs that were new to my ears. Just today I received a CD-R of "Unreleased Vol 1" in the mail. I was fortunate enough to locate "f*cked music" last week and even found the sampler to "the Jim Sullivan Syndrome". Let's just say the excitement has peaked all over again! Til this day you cant put PM Dawn in a box and slap a label on it. That, to me, is amazing. 46 is too young to go. I hate that you (Be) suffered and that your family went through so much. However, I am happy.. happy that I was alive to live through that era and happy to open my ears to a new sound. Im 35 now, engaged and a father of four. Thank you for being there during my darkest, loneliest days as a teen. Thank you for being there when I feel joyful. PM Dawn deserves SO much more than what they received as far as accolades, album sales, etc. But that's neither here nor there now. Til the end of my days, PM Dawn.. much love.

Wonderful band, and I usually don't care much for hip-hop. Rest in peace, Prince Be.

Hey Brian(?) Thanks for bringing this site back and for posting lyrics from the newer songs. Though I never met Prince Be, I continue to enjoy and be influenced by his work. From time to time, I'll get an email from someone looking for a copy of F*cked Music. I hope there's a plan to re-release this and more. Cheers.

PM Dawn, lyrical genius at its best. Gone way too soon. Bliss Album is the soundtrack of my life, I wish my poetry came through like that.

I was goofing off on Snapchat and saw a filter that reminded me of Prince Be's sunglasses. I followed up by checking online to see what was new with the group. I'm saddened to see that Prince Be passed this year. Long live the music of PM Dawn and Prince Be. "Die Without You" is one of those songs that will stretch for generations! Jah Bless

PM Dawn has had a huge influence on me as an artist. Your uniqueness, brave, cutting edge and futuristic music blew my mind. Everyday walking to work, living my life I had your music playing in my ears. Your words spoke to me. I truly am saddened and still in shock over Prince Be's passing, I knew he had health issues over the years but still it's truly a sad moment and loss in the world and the world of music. I'm a very new artist but I did want to meet you both one day just so I could tell you in person just how much you have inspired me and how much I truly respect your legacy. The musicworld in my opinion should honor and celebrate you more often. Much love to PM Dawn, and everyone. Thank You #RipPrinceBe

Prince Be and PM Dawn created an ever lasting imprint from the amazing creativity rarely seen in music. It will always be enjoyed and maybe rediscovered for those who were not around for the short time PM Dawn created what they did. PM Dawn will always be One of the Beautiful!
